On Saturday 7th December I was lucky to again attend and photograph the ‘Strictly White Christmas’ concert at St. Paul’s church in EghamHythe, Surrey. 2013-12-10_0010

For the last four years this Caberet style evening has really kicked off my Christmas!

Will Torrent, the Award Winning Chocolatier & Pattisier, offers a popular mix of Classic Christmas and Jazz songs with music being provided by the Laurie Holloway Trio -Laurie on piano, Dave Chamberlain on bass and Harold Fisher on drums.

2013-12-10_0009This year Will was also joined by guest Jazz singer Tina May who is considered to be the finest Jazz vocalist ever produced by Britain.2013-12-10_0005

The evening is made even more spectacular with professional sound by Tim Horton and, as with previous years, the talented Les Brewer was on hand to light the church filling the amazing space with beautiful splashes of colour and festive sparkle.2013-12-10_0002

The event takes place during St Pauls’ four day long Christmas Festival which sees the church filled will Christmas trees, each one provided and decorated by local charities and businesses.

Each year the evening has been a sell out with proceeds from the event going towards the church and it’s charities. With delicious canap├ęs, a nice glass of wine (or two) and fantastic company you cannot fail to leave the church without feeling full of Christmas cheer.2013-12-10_0006
